Welcome to “La Grange!” This pet-friendly, 4-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental from 1835 is located in the northern Catskill Mountains, 30 minutes from many attractions including Wyndham, Hunter, and more. In addition to the barn, you’ll have access to the 11 acre estate, which includes a custom playground, multiple hammock areas, meadow, fire pit, outdoor bar and even your own private trail! If you want to get away from the city with your family, this is the place to visit!

THE PERFECT PLACE TO GET AWAY WITH YOUR FAMILY!
Enjoy an open concept stainless steel chef’s kitchen and a large living room space that is divided into two rooms by the floating stairs that lead you upstairs. The living room includes a 55-inch TV with all the smart tv features you can imagine and a fully stocked "old-school" nintendo, comfortable loveseats, lounge chairs, and a wood-burning stove for the colder nights (the barn also has 4 zone central heating.) During the summer, we have two air conditioner units to help keep you cool, and a standby generator ensures you’ll not go without power in the mountains. La Grange offers high-speed Internet throughout the estate and 5G cell phone signal!
One master suite (The Mamie & Papy Room) is located on the first floor, ideal for visitors looking for less stairs. The first-floor bathroom includes a shower bath with dual nozzles and track lighting.
As you ascend the floating stairs, a beautiful hallway directs you to the various rooms including a laundry room, walk-in closet, and master bath with two person Jacuzzi tub, waterfall shower, and dual vanity.
Two guest rooms are off of this hallway, as well as the entry to the master suite, which includes a stunning den with 42-inch TV and full-size pull out couch. The connected master bedroom suite is 350 ft.² and features a four-poster bed.
A PRIVATE ESTATE JUST FOR YOU!
There is so much to explore outside at La Grange. Head out down the stairs through the balcony off the master bedroom and you will see apple trees, ideal for picking in the fall. The massive, custom playground off the side of the house allows kids to play while being supervised safely from the kitchen. The barbecue set, patio, outdoor heater, and multiple sitting areas create a welcoming area right off of the main door to the property.
But there’s even more to explore on the grounds. Take a walk up the path and you will arrive at a beautiful open meadow on the property with additional apple trees and a shaded seating area. Follows signs to continue on the path through the property and you will arrive on a dairy trail, with a gorgeous, shaded canopy of trees all around you. Those willing to continue the adventure may be lucky enough to come across the stream, a great place for supervised play for kids.
While the interior of La Grange is magical, the property is what you write home about. Hiking trails are abound in the Catskills, but a private hiking trail is something special!
