Stampede Cottage is located on Antares Road off of Stampede Road in Healy, Alaska- 20 minutes from the entrance to Denali National Park. It is 5 miles from Eight Mile Lake and a less traveled view of Mt. McKinley. Stampede Road is a historic mining trail and the featured location of the book and movie 'Into the Wild.'
The layout of the cottage includes a kitchen & dining area, bathroom, living area and a bedroom on the ground floor. The bedroom has a queen bed, bunk bed, and large closet with a double bed. The newly completed daylight basement has a media room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a master suite with a private bathroom and walk in closet. All together there are three queen beds in the downstairs bedrooms.
