Nestled on scenic Little Lake Sunapee, 4 minutes from the quintessential New England town of New London, New Hampshire, this stunning 4000 square foot, newly built home features a big open floor plan, a rec room, gym, walls of windows with captivating lake views, a private dock, six kayaks, stand up paddle board, outdoor seating area with gas fire pit table, a sandy beach, and incredible sunsets. Every night you'll experience a different "painting" over the water. Owners kayak from May through mid November. You'll enjoy watching the loons who live on the lake.
Its prime New London location allows for total privacy yet easy access to everything at just a four-minute drive to the supermarket, great restaurants, stunning fall foliage from your window, and many options for hiking trails and water sports. Sunapee Mountain is just 15 minutes from home and is known for great hiking and skiing. You can also enjoy possible ice skating, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing on the lake in the winter. The rail trail offers many miles of biking, walking, or cross-country skiing and is minutes from this home.
The new interior is designed to perfection, with high ceilings and natural elements that create a warm and welcoming ambiance with wood floors, wood beams, and a gorgeous stone fireplace. The open-concept main living space includes a tranquil family room with a large TV and plenty of plush seating, including a large comfy window seat, and 2 powered recliners. The dining room has seating for eight and there is a glass buffet with ottomans overlooking the lake which doubles as a work station, with outlets for your laptop.
Enjoy a gourmet kitchen with chef-grade appliances and island seating. The butler's pantry adds even more excitement for the group's chef with additional prep space, small appliances, coffee bar, and food storage.
Head outside onto the screened-in porch where you can relax with a cup of coffee and a good book or dine at the table with seating for eight as you watch the sunset. The space is glassed in during the cooler months for you to enjoy. There is a grill on the deck outside of the porch, along with natural stone steps down to a seating area with gas firepit table to enjoy in the summer and fall as you watch the sun set over the lake.
There is an enclosed out door shower to clean off before coming back inside.
For additional entertainment space, head downstairs to the rec space with a comfy couch, large TV with surround sound, and a gym with various equipment, including a stationary bike, mini trampoline, rower, TRX, mats, and dumb bells.
When you are ready to retire for the night, the three large lake level bedrooms are available for your use. The primary suite features a queen bed and stunning bathroom, the second bedroom features a queen bed, and the third offers two twin beds. There is a laundry room on this level as well. Back on the main level, you'll also find a mud room, a half bath and an oversized 2 car garage.
Excluded: The main level master bedroom suite, and office ( these are not in photos) are locked off, fridge in laundry room will store owner's items. In summer, pontoon boat for owner's use only. There is space at the dock if you'd like to bring/rent your own boat.
This was built as our dream vacation home and not a rental property so please care for it as you would your own. We are on a quiet private road and we love our neighbors, so no loud parties are permitted.
