Have fun with the whole family at our cozy, stylish log cabin in the small town of Wardsboro. Our cabin is located 1/2way between Mt. Snow and Stratton (15 mins each), minutes from VAST trail access, and within a 40-min drive to Bromley and Magic Mountain, making it a perfect winter getaway for skiers & snowmobilers. It's also close to summer hiking and mountain biking trails, breweries & distilleries, and fishing. Looking for fine dining or shopping? Manchester Center is a 45 min drive.
The home is in a residential neighborhood made up of mostly second home and vacation rentals. It's a beautiful area for a walk, since lots are private and heavily wooded, and the streets aren't busy. Our home is on the same street as the recreation complex for the neighborhood, which has a tennis court, a small hill that's great for sledding, and a ball field.
We love taking in the woods from the two-story floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area, or out on the back deck when the weather is nice.
We bought this home as a cozy getaway for our young family, so you'll find kids toys and games, twin beds, outlet covers, kids plates and cutlery, and plenty of children's movies at our place.
