We call our beautiful cabin retreat "Sunset Shores". The sunsets are incredible from the deck overlooking the lake. It's located several miles south of Hayward on 3,000 acre Lake Grindstone and faces due west.
Lake Grindstone is one of the Hayward areas premier lakes and is known for its crystal clear water, sandy bottom, and excellent fishing and skiing and swimming opportunities. This private cabin is situated on a deep wooded lot off the road.
The cabin layout-
It is a 3 BR, 2 bath home with a nice lakeside deck. There is one bedroom on the main level which is a king. There is a queen bedroom on the lower level and a second BR has matching 2 sets bunk beds (full size) with foosball table, and a queen size futon. There is a baby crib on site too! Sleeps 6 and total square footage is 1600 square feet. There is a full bath on each level.
You have an outdoor fire pit right next to the lake! You have central A/C, a nice lakeside screen porch, attached deck, and free use of canoe and bikes.
Bring your own boat or rent one on the lake-
There is a long private dock for your boat as well as a lift for you to use during your stay with us.
We only rent during the summer months from June to October. We do NOT rent for the Birkie.
