Summary: The house and the property suited our needs very well. The traffic so close on Route 77 was somewhat of a distraction. The house was well equipped for our purposes, to prepare and serve our Thanksgiving dinner. We had brought several pots and pans to assure that we would be well equipped for cooking and serving, and found that we only needed one or two. We were impressed with how well the house was equipped. Learning how to set the house thermostat was challenging but we did work it out. Two of the bedrooms lacked window covering which was a problem for one of our family members. Our family took a short hike to Cunningham Falls, a real treat(!) while one of us completed the Thanksgiving meal preparation. The location of the house in the midst of the Catoctin Mountain Park is very beautiful. All in all we were very pleased with our stay in the house.
