The Lift Haus is a renovated 1,564 sq. ft. chalet with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This 3 level chalet features its own private elevator with bonus stairs outside reaching all levels!
You will be amazed at the mountain views from the covered wrap around deck. Relish the sights of Kachina Peak, Wheeler Peak (the tallest mountain in all of New Mexico) and the top of lift one while you revel in the warm TSV sun! There is a gas grill on the deck with comfortable outdoor furniture as well as a propane fire pit to keep you warm as you enjoy après ski while soaking up the mountain air of Taos Ski Valley.
The first floor main entry features a comfortable ski room including boot warmers for up to 6 pairs of boots. This cozy room invites you in with a warm gas stove, comfortable seating bench, coat hooks and a ski/snowboard storage rack. Keep all of your ski and sports gear in one location! An interior entry into the one car garage is also on this level. There is room for additional cars outside however; beware of falling ice and snow! You can always park additional vehicles in the resort parking lot.
The bedrooms and three bathrooms are on the second level. Two bedrooms include king size beds (or two twins) with en suite bathrooms and views that will take your breath away! The third bedroom boasts comfortable custom made twin bunkbeds (4 beds total) each with its own privacy curtain.
The top third floor features windows galore with a panoramic view of TSV, a fully stocked kitchen (service for 8) with newer appliances, a beautiful mesquite dining table that extends to seat 8, cozy sunken living area, unique live edge bar and mantel above the gas stove, 4 stools looking down into the living room providing additional seating, as well as a convenient laundry/bathroom combination. Carrying supplies up three levels can be difficult at such high elevations so, this three level chalet features its own private elevator with bonus stairs outside reaching all levels making loading and unloading during your stay easy!
PLEASE NOTE THE LIFT HAUS IS LOCATED AT A HIGH ELEVATION OF 9,000+ FT. ROADS ARE WELL MAINTAINED IN THE SUMMER AND PLOWED IN THE WINTER; HOWEVER A VEHICLE WITH 4- WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH APRIL .
