The Space:
This 3-1/2 story eclectic Tudor Revival home, built in 1910 by Grant Wilson Deming ,was one of the first in the neighborhood. Sitting on a double wide gently curved corner lot, the home boasts 4724 sq feet with an incredible amount of natural light and storage. Upon entering the property, you notice the large front porch with a dining set and lounging set on opposite sides. Inside, the house was recently professionally decorated to highlight old features, now mixed with modern touches. On the first floor, there is an office overlooking the front yard, spacious living room, cozy reading room, dining room, large eat-in kitchen with antique stove, roomy family room with big-screen TV and an antique half bathroom. There is a small, glass-enclosed greenhouse attached to the kitchen and access to the lush backyard. There are two sets of stairs leading to the next floor, which features an expansive laundry room with two washers and dryers and lots of room for storage (home to a former seamstress) and a full bathroom with a tub shower. Going up to floor 2, you'll find a queen bedroom, full bathroom with tub shower, a bedroom with two built-in twin beds, a small nursery with a crib and the primary bedroom. Floor 3 features a large playroom and elegant queen bedroom.
There is no garage or basement access at this property.

Guests have access to the entire house, yard, and 2 parking spaces in the driveway. Neighboring houses are closeby. Please be respectful of neighboring property.

Cleveland Heights, a diverse, progressive suburb of Cleveland just above University Circle, offers residents an urban suburban mix feel and most residents own their homes. In Cleveland Heights, there are many bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Cleveland Heights is home to families and young professionals. This home is located near the Coventry, Cedar Fairmount, and Cedar Lee areas of Cleveland Heights. It is 2.5 miles (7 minute drive) to Case Western Reserve University, 2.9 miles (8 minute drive) to the Cleveland Clinic, 3.2 miles (11 minutes) to John Carroll University, and 1.9 miles (7 minute drive) to University Circle.
Getting Around:
There are several walkable areas nearby, but it is best to have a car to get to these areas. The closest walkable area is Coventry Road, a 25 minute walk. This is also where you would find the public transportation bus pick up. It is easy to find a ride share driver within minutes.
Other Things to Note:
There are also stairs to enter the home. There are no bedrooms on the first floor.
The house is an antique. The hardwood floors are beautiful, but they squeak. The windows are not sealed as tight as new windows, but they're beautiful. If you appreciate the charm of an old house, this house is for you.
There is no access to the garage for parking. Parking is in the driveway or on the street (free).
NO PARTIES -- There are ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, events or large gatherings allowed in the home or on the property. We have neighbors who will notify us of such events, and you will be required to leave immediately with no refund and a negative review will be documented. Extra cleanup from the evidence of a party or large gathering may become subject to a $45 hourly extra cleanup on top of the existing cleaning fee.
NO SMOKING -- There is absolutely no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, e-cigs, vaping, etc.), and if in violation you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund in addition to a documented negative review.
30 NIGHT MIN -- 30-night minimum. All prebooking questions must be answered to process your reservation. If guest fails to answer any prebooking questions their reservation will be canceled and/or declined.
LOCAL GUESTS -- All local (Cleveland-based) guests must have at least 2+ positive reviews to book this property. Local guests must have a detailed explanation for renting with Airbnb due to past negative experiences with local guests (see the no parties/large gatherings rule).
PROPERTY DAMAGES – Any damaged property must be reported to the host. We understand accidents happen, and please make sure to notify the host/co-host if damage to the property occurs. Replacement fees and/or reimbursement for damaged items may occur if needed.
GUEST PROFILES – All guests must have a complete profile (including verified ID) with a profile picture.
EXTRA GUESTS – All guests on the reservation must be included in the total # (please no unauthorized guests without permission from the host).
As a courtesy to our cleaners, any uncleaned vomit and or blood will result in a $100 charge to the guest.
