Nestled in the foothills of the majestic Sandia Mountains, Sandia Heights is one of Albuquerque's most beautiful and peaceful neighborhoods.
Many residents enjoy morning or evening walks. The Tramway Bike Path extends north and south across the city, providing amazing cycling with relative safety as it is removed from the primary road. The Elena Gallegos Open Space is just down the road, and the La Luz Trail is nearby as is the Sandia Casino.
With breathtaking views of the Sandia Mountains and the area is renowned for some of the best hiking in New Mexico. With over 100 trails including the popular La Luz Trail and Crest Trail, nestled in the Cibola National Forest.
The Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway and Ski Area provide year-round recreational facilities, with a November-to-April ski season. The aerial tramway is just 5 minutes from your door, so in only 20 minutes you can be skiing.
A cave in the mountains has yielded artifacts of the so-called "Sandia Man," a prehistoric Indian group that is thought to date to 23,000 BCE. In Pueblo mythology the Sandia Mountains were sacred, marking the southern boundary of the Tiwa-speaking Indian territory.

• Unreturned and/or lost house keys will result in a $100.00 fee to replace it.

• For stays over 30 days, a monthly cleaning fee will be applied.
