Well-equipped, lovely restored village chalet, well located close to the centre of Peisey and to the ski area of Peisey - Les Arcs - Paradiski. Distance to the lift approx. 500 m. The chalet features an open fireplace, sauna, an outdoor hot tub for 6 people and free WiFi . The typical stone house from 1880 was expanded with great attention to detail and turned into a cosy holiday home. The interior is spacious and generously designed, the chalet impresses with its special charm and offers a high quality of living. Ecological aspects were also taken into account in the modernization process. Solar cells on the roof provide hot water and the modern pellet central heating provides pleasant warmth. The chalet is situated on the edge of the old village with its picturesque, narrow streets, the church dated from the 17th century and the restaurants, bars, bakery, butcher's and a small supermarket, each approx. 100 - 250 m away from the chalet. A separate area in the lower part of the chalet is not available for the tenant. An exclusive holiday quality: skiing in the mega ski area - living in a grown, cosy mountain village, with a correspondingly high quality of life. Free public car park approx. 100 m; vehicle access to within ~10m of the property. Altitude chalet: 1.300 m, ski area up to 3.250 m with two glaciers: Aiguille Rouge in the Les Arcs area and Bellecôte in the sector of La Plagne. 140 ski lifts. The Lonzagne lift, ~500 m from the chalet, leads into the heart of the ski resort of Peisey - Les Arcs - Paradiski and offers access to 425 km of ski runs. Peisey-Vallandry is situated right in the heart of this vast area which is composed by Peisey, Les Arcs and La Plagne. So, it's the best place to discover this major ski spot of the Alps. You find great freeride descents at the Grand Col, around Arc 2000 and at the legendary Bellecôte North face (with a ski guide; no marked or prepared runs; use at own risk), but also various easy and long family rides around Peisey and Arcs 1800 as well as specially equipped sectors for children. The ski school ESF is located just a few steps from the top station of the Lonzagne-lift in Plan-Peisey. Sports shops with ski rental. The Nordic ski centre is located at Nancroix; you get there by the free shuttle bus. There is a wide range of sports activities to experience during the summer in Peisey-Vallandry including cycling, mountain biking, climbing, swimming, tennis, golf as well as horse riding or fishing.
