Feel like you're getting a true country experience while less than 10 minutes away from the heart of Hudson! Our family home is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with over an acre of land in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Steps away from an apple orchard and surrounded by pick-your-own farms, it is perfect for a family get-away. Eight minutes from the heart of Warren Street in Hudson, easy access to Amtrak, and a quick drive to nearby towns like Germantown, Tivoli, Red Hook, and Rhinebeck. Olana is three minutes away.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom, and the guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a second bathroom down the hall. The third bedroom is a nursery, with a crib available for an infant. There is an office, where it's possible for us to set up an additional cot. There is a pull-out sofa downstairs in the library. The house comfortably sleeps five adults, six with the cot. Downstairs there is a large living space with a gas fireplace, a cozy study, an eat-in kitchen with state of the art appliances, and a beautiful screened-in porch overlooking the large lawn.
Quiet, peaceful, and with plenty of space to relax, our house is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to experience the astounding natural beauty of the Hudson Valley. Our closest town is Hudson, which is filled with amazing antique and vintage stores, delicious restaurants and breweries, and great bars and cafes. We're also only minutes away from the Catskill mountains, where there are plenty of places to hike and ski!
Please note that this is our home, and some closets/drawers will be off-limits to guests. We also have a cat; she travels with us, and the house is cleaned thoroughly before every guest arrives, but guests with severe allergies should be aware.
