60 miles from downtown Atlanta, this one-acre Lake Sinclair home features a beautiful view of Lake Sinclair and the Oconee National Forest. Scenic views for summer or when foliage change of the lake and forest from every room on the lake side of the house including the common areas, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, sunroom, family room, deck with a hot tub, and a large recently extended porch overlooking the pointe. This home is truly a fun and relaxing getaway.
Wake up in the master king size bed to a beautiful view of the water. Have breakfast in the kitchen nook area, the dining room, or on the decks or porch and never take your eyes off the water. Three other cute bedrooms with comfortable accommodations for all. We also have a bunk room with an cozy outdoor feel. It is just off the family room that has 2 twin beds that both have another bed underneath. Its a great place for kids or just to be away and have some quiet time. It has its own bath room, washer and dryer. (No central air or heat in bunk room only.) Large room wall A/C with heat available in the room to accommodate the season. Both keep the room very comfortable.
Home is on a peninsula so you will enjoy almost 360 degree views of the lake..are you getting "the view" yet? Splash the day away- swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, or just sunning on the dock. Lake is approx. 5ft by the house but becomes deeper as you swim out or toward evening as Damn fill the lake. The house has 2 kayaks, a paddle board, and a hot tub. Relax in the hot tub overlooking the forest-lined lake. The large flat lot is on the point and has unobstructed views of the water. The home is very cute and comfortably decorated featuring hardwood floors throughout. The family room is complete with an electric fireplace and LCD TV with cable television. The entire house is WIFI-enabled. There are three televisions throughout the home and board games are also available. The guest bathroom and master bathroom have recently been renovated with new tile, shower, and vanity. A total of five bedrooms have a king bed, queen beds, day beds, and sleeper sofa to comfortably sleep you and your family. Lake Sinclair is located in central Georgia on the Oconee River, just minutes away from all the attractions of Milledgeville, Georgia The home is just a 15-minute drive to shopping, restaurants, and golfing on Lake Oconee. Great place to stay for "THE MASTERS" With over 400 miles of scenic shoreline, meandering coves and inlets, as well as numerous stretches of open water, the lake offers plenty of swimming, fishing, and boating opportunities. Rent a small boat or jetski and cruise the lake, or stop at local restaurant accessible by small boat or a car. Milledgeville is the largest city on Lake Sinclair and is home to Georgia College and State University and Georgia Military College. It is only 20 minutes from the home and has a thriving and charming downtown area featuring many dining and shopping choices. Come to the Lake House to have a fun and relaxing get away, any time or season. If not staying with us in the Spring or Summer, the Fall is also a beautiful time to see the leaves turn color and the Winter is a great time to enjoy the Holidays with cool and crips days and nights by the fire pit.
For a little adventure off of the lake, explore 4H Rock Eagle, Old Governor’s Mansion, Andalusia Farm, bike the Antebellum Trail, tour the historic homes in Madison, hit the greens at the Uncle Remus Golf Course.
You can rent a small boat or jet ski. (boat rentals need to be smallest pontoon boat with low profile seats or small boat 20-22 ft with no top to get through the closest bridge by our house. (Twin Bridges west) .
We are situated very close to marinas, boat launches, gas station, fishing supply stores, shops, restaurants, golf courses and more.
