Enjoy the best of both worlds at this quiet & charming historic 1880s Queen Anne Victorian apartment, just a 5 minute walk from the heart of Pine Plains and a short drive to surrounding farms, hiking trails and swimming holes. Lovingly restored to highlight the best of the period’s architectural style, with touches of modern design that evoke all the comforts of home.
The space
This entire second floor apartment is yours to call home, featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an efficiently appointed kitchenette, and a spacious living space with a dining area that also functions as a work space. The perfect homebase for your upstate adventure or to work remotely while relaxing and enjoying all of the natural beauty that the Hudson Valley has to offer.
Spacious and comfortable with approximately 1300 square feet, one king sized bed, one full bed, and one full sized pull-out couch, the home can accommodate up to five adults. Infants and children over the age of 4 are also welcome.
Guests also have access to outdoor space including the front porch, front yard and the side area of the house. Enjoy a cup of coffee from a rocking chair on the front porch while watching the birds at the feeder, or sit around the fire pit in the evening with a glass of wine and a dinner of locally raised meat and produce cooked on the grill which is available for your use.

Other things to note
Please note that the property owners do live in the first floor apartment of the house. We kindly ask that all guests observe quiet hours after 11pm out of respect for us and our neighbors, and request that shoes be removed upon entering the apartment for both cleanliness and noise reduction. Guests are advised to bring a pair of slippers or house shoes.
The backyard and barn are off limits to guests, although we would be delighted to give you a tour of both the garden (and share any veggies in season!) and the barn which operates as a working woodshop and should not be entered unless accompanied by one of the property owners. If you're interested in exploring these areas, please let us know!
Lastly, we have a very friendly and outgoing dog as well as four chickens who you may run into in the yard. Pico, our dog, will be excited to greet you!
