Welcome to Alpine Vista, your dream getaway in the mountains with a hot tub and firepit!
Alpine Vista is in one of the best spots within the private Cherry Ridge community. We are situated at the top and very far end of the community with almost 4 acres of semi-private woods backing the property with sweeping views of the beautiful West Virginia mountainside and the small pond that borders the property. **Please note that 4wd is required in winter when there is snow or ice**.
This beautiful 3-story home features an open concept kitchen and great room with a towering ceiling and full views of the mountains from every angle! The heart of Alpine Vista is the huge
wood burning fireplace in the Great Room, so relax on the comfy L-shaped couch in front of the fire and forget all your worries. Please note that firewood is not provided so you will have to bring your own supplies.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need to enjoy your stay, including pots and pans, dishes and tableware. It has a gas stove and dishwasher, and has a microwave, toaster
and crockpot.
Unlike other mountain homes, Alpine Vista's 3 bedrooms are separated (one on each floor) to ensure the quiet and solitude you deserve. Most of the bedrooms feature ceiling fans. Our Canoe Room master bedroom on the upper level features a king size bed with hotel-style pillows and bedding, as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combination and his/hers sinks.
Our Mountain Room on the main level features a queen size bed with hotel-style pillows and bedding, with a connecting bathroom with a shower.
Our Ski Room bedroom on the lower level features a king size bed with hotel-style pillows and bedding and an adjoining bathroom with shower.
Our lower level also features a mudroom entrance which can be used to enter and clean off after a long day hiking or skiing. There is also a separate TV and game room with a large, comfortable, L-shaped couch where you can unwind with some board games or watch a movie.
Alpine Vista has a wraparound deck with rocking chairs to allow you to enjoy the sunset, wildlife or just stargaze. Enjoy the brand-new Jacuzzi hot-tub on the deck overlooking the beautiful landscape, or take advantage of the fire pit located near the pond. The cabin has lots of amenities -- Dish TV and WIFI, books and board games to keep you busy when you are not exploring the great outdoors.
Conveniently located within minutes of Timberline Mountain, Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center, Blackwater Falls State Park, Whitegrass Ski Area, Dolly Sods, and all the Wilderness area trail heads. No Pets and no smoking.
