The park includes nearly 50 miles of trails, deep mud pits, a motocross track, and several steep hill-climbs. Potomac State Forest features over 11,000 acres of some of the best hunting woodlands in Maryland. Fly fishing enthusiasts can enjoy trophy trout fishing nearby along the North Branch of the Potomac River. Thoughtful home amenities include a freezer chest, a vacuum sealer (upon request), a commercial-size cutting board, filet knives, a deer hanging station, and an outdoor fish cleaning station.
