This beautiful 2-story, 4-bedroom, light filled contemporary home is nestled among the trees overlooking Weems Creek. With plenty of parking, beautiful outdoor space, and close to the USNA stadium, the Hidden Treasure on Weems Creek is a perfect place for family and friends for your commissioning week stay.
Inside, the beautifully renovated eat in kitchen features a 6-burner gas stove and electric oven, stainless appliances, granite counter tops and a glass top dining table for 2, a flatscreen TV, and a seating area with a sofa and two cozy chairs that allows for the chef to prepare meals without feeling isolated.
A combined powder room and laundry room with washer and dryer are conveniently located next to the kitchen.
Just beyond the kitchen is a formal dining room with floor to ceiling windows on two sides allowing for natural light to shine through from both sides of the house. The dining table could comfortably seat 6-8 guests.
Pass through to the formal living room where you�ll find comfortable furnishings in a cozy arrangement, perfect for conversation. A gas fireplace, built in bookshelves, and interesting artwork complete the features of this lovely space. Water views from the living room make this a wonderful place to relax. Or step out onto the patio where you�ll find plenty of seating and another table and chair where you can dine al fresco and overlook the well-maintained yard and Weems Creek. A charcoal grill with a gas starter will surely make the grill expert of the group happy along with a stainless firepit for enjoying a night under the stars.
Take a walk up the floating stairs to the 2nd floor to find 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The primary bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bath is in its own wing and has floor to ceiling windows running the entire length of the room allowing for spectacular views of the water. On the other side of the staircase are 3 additional bedrooms and a shared full bath. The first bedroom has a twin bed, a crib, and even a rocking chair. The additional 2 bedrooms each feature a twin trundle which would allow for 1-2 guests in each room.
The outdoor space offers a very large yard with a long circular driveway allowing for ample parking for guests should you decide to have a gathering. Please note, however, the maximum number of guests allowed would be 20. Since this is in a residential area with close neighbors, loud music is prohibited, and we would request that outdoor entertaining ends at 9 pm.
The home is conveniently located to downtown and is approximately 1.5 miles (6 min.) from the Naval Academy and is easily walkable to the stadium (.08 miles � about 15 min. walk) making this an excellent location for all your commissioning week activities.
Please note, this is an owner occupied home outside of rentals. We ask that you respect any closets/areas of the home that are identified as �Private � Owner Closet, etc.� Additionally, the owner does have a dog - to be considered for anyone with allergies.
