The district is a step back in time, with preserved 19th-century architecture. The Harpers Ferry Train Station is also a noteworthy stop if you love history and old railways. Feeling adventurous? Harpers Ferry has a haunted past, and there are ghost tours available in the evenings. You can explore the darker side of the town's history, visiting old churches, graveyards, and other eerie spots.2. Appalachian Trail (distance from house - 10 mins): Runs through Harpers Ferry, and the town is often considered the "psychological halfway point" for thru-hikers. If you're into hiking or nature walks, you can take a short hike to see breathtaking views of the Potomac River and the surrounding mountains.3.
