Just 20 minutes to the main plaza, and minutes away from beautiful hiking and biking trails. The owners have thought of just about everything for your comfort and convenience, so all you need to do is make your booking and show up. It’s pet friendly too!
Our home is located in a semi-rural area at approximately 7,200 feet elevation. During the winter, December – March, we INTERMITTENTLY receive snowfall, making access to our home problematic for those without 4-Wheel Drive vehicles or All-Wheel Drive vehicles with all-season tires and good tread. While this is rare, it does happen. Therefore, in the event of forecasted snowfall, we recommend that those with 2-Wheel Drive vehicles or all-wheel without good tires, park their cars on Old Santa Fe Trail on the side of the road. The County maintains this road and sands it when it snows. Please do not block the lane as our neighbors need to get in and out of their homes. Normally, snow melts within a few days and easy access to our home is quickly restored. 4-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive vehicles with all season tires and good tread, shouldn’t have any problems unless there’s a serious blizzard. We also keep chains and a snow shovel handy just in case.
