The Space:
The quaint tiny home in the woods is a real gem! You will love the eclectic bohemian styled decor and the view is beautiful. Private access and a beautiful front porch. Queen sized bed in the bedroom, full kitchen and combined dining and living areas. A cozy place to stay any time of the year and great access to the Olympic National Park and Discovery Trail. There is also a gazebo a few steps away with a standing grill for guest use. Bring your own charcoal to use the grill.

This home has exquisite forest views as well as easy access to the Olympic National Park and Lake Crescent (only 15 minute to the North shores.). You have access (walking) to the Lyre River where there is a sitting area so you can let the river serenade you.
Located just 30 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay!
Nearby Olympic National Park entrances like the Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rain Forest, Cape Flattery make this location an excellent "base camp" from which you can explore the Olympic Peninsula and towns like Forks, Neah Bay and beaches like Shi Shi Beach and Hobuck Beach. Explore the parks, walk the rivers (Dungeness, Elwha and many more), kayak on Lake Crescent or drop right in the Strait from our private boat ramp. During the Winter and Fall, enjoy the true nature of the Pacific Northwest: observe the high tides, storm surges and occasional dense marine fog from the comfort of your cozy cabin. You are going to love this place!

Located just outside the quaint little town of Joyce, WA, the Lyre Tiny House is a quiet and remote get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy all the best of what the PNW has to offer. Within 3 hrs of Seattle and Portland, this is a perfect getaway from the big city.
We are nestled in the middle of so many beautiful spots to visit here around the Olympic parks. Only 25-30 (15 min to the North Shore) min to the breathtaking Lake Crescent. There are numerous hikes and places to explore there. Not much further from that is the entrance to Sol Duc. Going the other direction you’ll find the Olympic Hot Springs and be close to Hurricane Ridge entrance . Cape flattery or the Hoh rainforest are not to be missed if you’re headed towards Sekui or Forks area.
* There is a great little store only 10 min from our location , Joyce General, that closes at 7pm. We are only 30 min from Port Angeles so if you’re looking for more options be sure to hit Safeway or Walmart off 101 before heading in for the night.
* Joyce & Co. Cafe is an excellent option for a meal out that is only ~10 min from us. Granny's Cafe (on 101) is just on the other side of the lake as well. In Port Angeles, you have everything from amazing burgers at the Next Door Gastropub, tasty BBQ at Coyote Grill, yummy seafood and steak at Kokopelli Grill, Pho that’s the best at New Saigon. For quick and easy on the pocketbook, Fast Burrito with fresh tasty Mexican food . Also Sabi Thai has stellar Thai food. New Day Eatery has breakfast and lunch only, and is very good!
