Nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers! We’d like to introduce Wild Turkey Overlook, a haven of tranquility and breathtaking beauty nestled in Shawnee Run in Rogers, Kentucky.
Welcome to this secluded paradise, decorated by sun-dappled trees standing guard over a realm of serenity. This cabin offers most of what Red River Gorge explorers want, including serenity and seclusion. You wont see any neighbors from the cabin and the night sky should offer you the full view of the stars.
The Space:
The cabin's interior is a symphony of comfort and style, with cozy furnishings and tasteful décor that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
This cabin is ideal for 6 guests, but sleeps up to 8! Our guests will have the luxury of three bedrooms furnished with 2 king beds, 1 queen and separately one pull out couch for two. There are two large TV's in two separate living spaces and ample space for eight guests to enjoy.
The exterior boasts two large patios with comfortable outdoor furniture, a private setting, cliff line views, a spacious hot tub and fire pit to enjoy the dreamy Kentucky sky. Enjoy a cozy night in by the electric fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub or spend your time star gazing on either the bottom or top porch! This cabin is the perfect setting for relaxing nights and story telling that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
This is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for peace and quiet but also want to be close enough to all the fun things the Gorge has to offer!

The Neighborhood:
This cabin sits in a new development called Shawnee Run and is the perfect central spot to enjoy all the Gorge has to offer!
Getting Around:
The cabin sits off a very well maintained gravel road, there is no need for special cars to arrive and the drive to the cabin is mostly flat.
Other Things to Note:
Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
Pets are not allowed and we cannot make any exceptions.. Toiletries are not provided. The WiFi is good and cell service is good as well. The cabin utilizes a well for water, we change the filters frequently and it is considered safe for all uses. However, some people prefer to bring their own drinking water, although this is not necessary.
Perishables are not provided, nor is firewood. You will need to bring basket filters for the coffee maker.
The cabin is accessible by paved and well maintained gravel roads, 4WD is not required.
All of our kitchens are supplied with the basics. From forks, spoons & knives, to pots and pans, you should have no problem cooking. However, due to high volume of guests, things like to run off. If there is something you're missing in the kitchen, please reach out to us to make your stay a 5-star experience!
