COME relax and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway located less than a mile from the north end of Conneaut Lake. Recently given a complete overhaul and renovation, this compact and cozy efficiency apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Amenities include WiFi, central air, a smart TV, a queen-sized bed with a Nectar mattress, plenty of parking, and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals.
This thoughtfully designed studio apartment blends a sleeping area at the back with a sitting/living room in the center and a kitchen/cooking area at the front. Everything you would need if you were moving into an apartment is provided, including dishes and cooking utensils, a stove/oven, refrigerator, and microwave oven. A small dining table is conveniently located opposite the living room area. The bathroom is a separate, private room with a door and features a shower only (no tub).
To help you settle in, we also provide a complimentary supply of coffee, decaf coffee, tea, cocoa, sugar, creamer, and bottled water. Fresh towels, washcloths, toilet paper, and hand soap are all provided for your stay, along with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. We have tried to keep the scents fairly neutral; however, if you have sensitivities, you may prefer to bring your own personal products.
We believe that you will find the setting here peaceful and very relaxing. Your rental has a private entrance, ensuring you won’t be bothered unless you want to be. Just outside, with a few steps, you’ll find a VERY large porch shared with one other short-term rental, which you are welcome to enjoy. The porch is a wonderful spot to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and a book or unwind on later in the day. If you’re staying awhile, plan a cookout on the gas grill provided and enjoy the outdoor space.
Parking is plentiful, with a large parking lot directly in front of your Airbnb—perfect even if you have multiple vehicles or boats. There are year-round tenants on the property, all friendly working or retired men and women, but your apartment is separate from the area where they live.
If you enjoy boating, swimming, or other water activities, access to Conneaut Lake and Fireman’s Beach (a swimming area) is just one mile away and within walking distance. Many anglers have booked this apartment due to its close proximity to Pymatuning Lake and the spillway. For quick access to necessary groceries and other supplies, a Dollar General is located less than 1 mile away. Access to other stores and shops is only a five-minute drive to the town of Conneaut Lake, and a 10-15 minute drive will place you in reach of the city of Meadville, where there are dozens of places to eat, a Walmart, and lots of specialty shops. Meadville is the quintessential large town with a small-town feel!
Despite its convenient location, nights here are very quiet. The unit sits far back from the road, making it unlikely you’ll hear the (very) occasional passing traffic. On clear nights, you can enjoy views of the stars and fall asleep to the sound of frogs singing.
